Marks for security work.

Natasha 9/10- Good. Phishing is where people send emails pretending to be a bank to get customer details, check your description. You say to use a computer to prevent human error - what about when a computer cannot be used? Training can also be used to prevent human error. Preventing theft not just up to a burglar alarm, what about CCTV, laptop locks, security locks on doors etc? Who are you writing this to? The tone changes throughout the article.

Emily 7/10- More needed about hardware failure. Repair people stealing data isn't the only risk, what about if a hard drive breaks and all data is lost? More needed about firewalls. Explain what they are in your own words and why they are needed. If more detail is added to all sections it will improve your grade.

Marks and comments for PDFs

Emily - Purpose of site - more needed about what advertising techniques are used. What is the advantage of having user accounts? You need to go into far more detail about how the site is structured. Your analysis of it is good, but you need to describe the structure in more detail, remember the examiner doesn't know what your site looks like. Good use of screen shots to show how to order a product. What is the process if you already have an account with them? You need to proof read your work as it does contain some errors. You should also mention more about the use of user accounts, loyalty cards and advertising. You say you can refer a friend, does the site send out email advertising? On the whole a good start. 7/10

Abby - Purpose of site - good use of BBC article. Structure - good description, however, you should include screen shots here to help you explain. Good description of E-commerce. You don't mention advertising in much detail, or setting up a user account. You should include screen shots showing how to make a purchase, and then how to make one with an account. Good information on the use of the blog, do any other websites use blogs? Good work, will be much easier to read once you have put it into the correct order! 8/10

Alex - you still need to convert this into a PDF. You need to remove your draft and planning work from you final PDF. You need to include more detail about what ecommerce is, and you need to use more simplistic language to explain what you mean. Purpose - what other means can be used? You must be specific. Much more detail is needed in the sections that you have completed, and you have not finished this work. 4/10
